History
Delta Squared Education, LLC was founded by us, identical twins and Newport Beach natives, Hayley and Miranda Young. We are experienced education professionals and accomplished academics and athletes.
Hayley holds a master’s degree in education from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education, where she studied cognitive neuroscience applied to mathematics pedagogy. She also holds a master’s degree in management from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a bachelor’s degree with honors in chemistry from the University of California, Irvine.
Miranda holds a master’s degree in education from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education, a master’s degree in management from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Irvine, where she graduated with Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa honors. She also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Prior to founding Delta Squared Education, we built our careers in higher education at Duke University and the University of California. After operating Delta Squared Education full-time from 2019 to 2025, we returned to leadership roles in higher education while continuing to provide personalized, remote college advising to a select group of students each year.
Collectively, we have launched and managed academic programs, led strategic university initiatives, developed programs, and supported hundreds of students throughout their educational journeys. Our ongoing work in higher education allows us to bring current institutional insight and real-world experience to every family we serve.
As collegiate tennis players for the UC Irvine Women’s Tennis team, we helped lead the team to the school’s first Big West Conference title, a top-30 national ranking, and a berth into the NCAA Division I Team Championships. We also received Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Academic All-American and Big West Academic All-Conference distinctions.
In our free time, we are active members of the UCI and Duke alumni networks and have held board roles on the UCI Alumni Association and Women United – Orange County United Way. We are regionally appointed Music Officials for U.S. Figure Skating and serve on the board of the Los Angeles Figure Skating Club. We also enjoy OrangeTheory, Pilates, and yoga.
